Conchal Hotel in Guanacaste

At Conchal Hotel our beautiful rooms are situated on the ground floor, with garden and swimming pool views. Standard rooms feature California king-size beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge, cable TV, room safe, and fully tiled en-suite private bathroom with hot-water shower. Superior rooms also feature upgraded furnishings and facilities including a personal computer with DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and bathrobes. Please note all rooms are non-smoking. Each room has its own secluded patio area outside, with seating overlooking the garden and pool.

Our Casita, for a maximum of 6 guests, features 2 connecting rooms sharing 1 bath. Room 1 features California king size bed, A/C, ceiling fan, cable tv, PC, refrigerator, breakfast bar with tea and coffee making facilities. Room 2 features 1 double and 1 single bed, A/C, fan, also pull-out cot bed on request. It is located in a tranquil area at the back of the property, with its own private patio area.

Our Hotel Facilities

One of the most striking features of the hotel is the 2 story treehouse-style rancho building. Here you will find our superb restaurant "Papaya" specializing in seafood and vegetarian dishes, as well as the hotel reception, bar and comfortable lounge areas. On the top floor you will find our lounge area dedicated to Keith Richards, with comfortable seating, hammocks, relaxed lighting, drapes to provide privacy, and views into the forest canopy. The hotel bar, the “Lizard Lounge” provides daily happy hour drinks specials including delicious cocktails and smoothies as well as bar snacks. 

A delicious continental buffet breakfast is served daily in the rancho (included in your room rate). This consists of fresh tropical fruits and juices, cereals, yogurt, freshly baked breads and cakes, and of course excellent Costa Rican coffee! A selection of speciality teas, coffee, and fresh drinking water is also available free of charge throughout the day for our guests.

Around the swimming pool you will find comfortable loungers, tables, chairs and canopies providing shaded areas. Here you are surrounded by the beautiful tropical flowers, plants and palm trees of the hotel garden. 

Our staff at the reception desk can provide expert advice and information on all local tours and excursions. We are also more than happy to provide help with bookings for your onward journey. 

High speed Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the hotel, free of charge for our guests, and a computer is also available. We also offer complimentary unlimited calls to the US and Canada.
